Writing

This is a combination of writing and projects I did for writing classes at the University of Denver and my own independent projects. I mostly created my own projectsabout being the youngest and only girl with four older brothers because I felt that it is a very unique situation.

Theories of writing

This class was the first writing class I took at DU. We learned the basics of college essay writing and did some amazing projects. I have included my final project from this class because I had a lot of fun making it and I'm very proud of it.

Creative Writing

I took travel writing and Poetry writing as electives but they were really fun classes. In the travel writing class, I wrote a feature article about my mom who stayed home to raise me and my four older brothers, and the poem I wrote also conveys how I feel about having so many brothers.

Rhetorical Theory

In this class, we explored the meaning of the rhetoric used by people like Scoratees all the way to the rhetoric used by Nixon and Kenedy during their first televised debate. The piece I wanted to focus on was our final project, a presentation on the rhetoric used in the Fyre Festival.
